Loved him as a player; cringe when he's in the booth.
Not so good a talker. I agree. I think Merloni will be pretty good at the desk. I'm glad Macha got the Brewers job, just to keep him out of the studio. Where's Bob Montgomery? He does the PawSox games occasionally on Cox.
