I can call in sick, then work from bed all day using the Crackberry, then drag myself to work sick the next day, work until 11 PM to make up lost time, and they will still charge me a vacation day for being out.. I'm in the wrong business..
I am unimportant. They never miss me until I'm not there.
I have no idea where the boss was today but the other two in my group were there all day. That is rare. I get a bit of leeway because I make an effort to keep all the bases covered.

I am enough of a valued employee that I can take a nice afternoon off when I want to.
I usually see at least a few Brown kids out when I play hooky.
